Click the image below to view our We are pleased to introduce our registered dietitian, Carole Harris ![]() Carole's Food Philosophy: Some people have become overwhelmed and disenchanted by all the nutrition information shared in the media. And rightly so! I have spent the past 25 years using my nutrition background and my love of food to help people navigate through all the conflicting research and headlines. My philosophy is about balance and getting back to realistic, life-long and attainable goals. And more importantly, re-establishing a healthy relationship with food. I believe eating is one of life’s great pleasures that should be enjoyed while still being a part of a healthy lifestyle. I’d be happy to share how!

Carole
Carole earned her undergraduate degree
in Food and Nutrition at the University of New Hampshire and her
Master’s in Clinical Nutrition at Boston University, where she
was also Director of Catering.
From there she has gained experience and insight into
various aspects of nutrition by working or consulting in a
variety of settings including the Department of Public Health,
WIC, health centers, private detox hospitals, medical offices,
homeless shelters and long-term care facilities.

Put Your In Our Hands We know that many of you take your health, and heart health in particular, very seriously. We do too, and that's why we do our best to provide heart-healthy options for you on a daily basis. Whenever possible we try to provide entrees and soups that meet the guidelines set forth by the American Heart Association and our staff nutritionist. In addition to the daily specials, we have lots of heart-smart options that are available everyday! Many our deli, grill and salad bar options make fantastic choices for heart-healthy choices, and since our display cooking items are customizable you can make many of them as healthy as you'd like! Here are a few of our suggestions for great heart-healthy choices that are not only nutritious but delicious as well! From the Deli: Turkey & Boursin Cheese with Lettuce & Tomato on Whole Wheat Bread From the Grab & Go: Chef's Salad paired with 1tsp Oil & 1 tsp Vinegar for Dressing From our 'Oodles of Noodles:' Chicken & Soba Noodles tossed with your choice of Fresh Veggies and Low-Sodium Soy Sauce From the Grill: Grilled Chicken Breast Sandwich topped with Lettuce, Tomato, Onion & Honey Mustard on a Whole Wheat Roll From the Salad Bar: Spinach & Romaine Salad topped with your choice of Fresh Veggies, Diced Turkey or Chicken and Low-Fat Zinfandel Dressing
